A deployed soldier, missing her family at Christmas, posts to the “Military Mama Network” Facebook Group about her sadness that she can’t help her family prepare for the holidays. Upon seeing the sergeant’s post, the Mamas spring into action, rushing to department stores and tree lots and even pulling decorations off their own houses. When the soldier’s children arrive home, they find their home transformed into a Christmas wonderland and can only conclude ecstatically that “Santa was here!” Facebook wants us to find more that brings us together.
